It's never been easier to join one of Eastsail's Ocean Sailing Adventure trips! Experience the thrills of offshore cruising and racing with Eastsail RYA Yachtmaster Instructor Brien Daniels (for the north bound legs and Olympic Coach Dayne Sharp for the south bound legs) beside you as your guide to the Big Blue. Add some serious miles to your log book while exploring the magnificent Australian East Coast from a different perspective. This year Eastsail will be hosting our legendary Sydney to Hamilton Island to Sydney sail aboard our stunning Beneteau 40.7's which are specifically fitted out for offshore cruising.The voyage is divided into 8 segments, so whatever style of sailing you favour, Eastsail has a trip that will quench your quest for adventure!

Build your miles up and practice your offshore skills. We will cover the
RYA Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper/Yacht Master syllabus with daily sailing drills and theory sessions. There will also be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Ports of entries include Broken Bay, Newcastle, Broughton Island, Port Stephens, Coffs Harbour, Southport, Moreton Bay, Mooloolabah, Frazer Island, Great Keppel Island. Yeppoon, Pearl Bay, Percy and Thomas Islands.

Sailing skills will be taught and reinforced in a relaxed atmosphere. Coastal Navigation, satellite navigation, tidal work, passage planning, pilotage, boat handling skills, provisioning and cooking at sea, basic engineering and maintenance, spinnaker work, reefing, man overboard drills, sailing, fishing, reading, lazing....

The schedule looks like this -

Leg 1: Sydney to Coffs Harbour - Monday July 24th to Friday July 29th

Leg 2: Coffs Harbour to Mooloolabah - Monday July 31st to Saturday Aug 5th

Leg 3: Mooloolabah to Yeppoon - Monday Aug 7th to Saturday Aug 12th

Leg 4: Yeppoon to Hamilton Island Saturday Aug 13th to Friday Aug 18th

Leg 5: Hamilton Island Race Week - Friday August 18th to Sunday August 27th - FULL CREW

Leg 6: Hamilton Island to Yeppoon - Monday Aug 28th to Saturday Sept 2nd

Leg 7: Yeppoon to Southport - Monday Sept 4th to Saturday Sept 9th

Leg 8: Southport to Sydney - Monday Sept 11th to Saturday Sept 16th

Each six day leg is 220 - 300 nautical miles long and costs $1395 plus catering, mooring fees and flights.
