Changes in Deckhardware S38 Nationals

by Simon Reffold on 6 Mar 2006
Well, the protest room was the scene of some significant position changes overnight.

Possibly the change with the biggest impact is the win by Estate Master (Martin & Lisa Hill, MHYC) over Contentious Issue (Geoff Masters, RPAYC) in the protest room and the subsequent loss in the room by Peter McNamara’s AMI Jade in the same race, this took two points away from Estate Master’s (using the low point scoring system) total to now give them a slightly more comfortable four point buffer over second placed Transfusion.

Disappointed are Contentious Issue, AMI Jade, Zen (Gordon Ketelbey, MHYC) and Stonybroke (Robin Tedder, MHYC) who all came out 'the worse for wear' for their time in the room. It was especially bitter for Masters and McNamara who both lost solid third places.

So – it’s another beautiful Autumn day in Sydney. The skies are blue, the wind is true, god is in his heaven and all is right with the world – time to go sailing!!!
