Semaine Internationale De Cannes - Day 1

by Event media/GN on 17 Feb 2006
Ismael Bruno of France leads with two wins on the opening day of the Semaine Internationale De Cannes

Behind the Frenchman, Dutchman Stefan de Vries scored third and second places to be one point ahead of Austria’s Florian Raudaschl, runner up in Cannes last year.

Emil Tomasevic of Croatia won the third race but was OCS in the first, so despite a third in the second race he is down in eleventh place before the discard comes in.

Over 30 Finn sailors are competing at the Yacht Club de Cannes, with nine races scheduled for the series which continues with races everyday until Saturday 18 February.
