On the IMS handicap, Sword of Orion which rounded the first windward mark in third place, was well ahead of her rivals on the corrected time.

In the Farr 40's Brighton Star was Leading Emotional Hooligan and Buon Giorno, when spinnakers were set for the final run to the finish.
