Simpson Marine relocates to Raffles marina

by Chaplin Public Relations on 8 Nov 2004
Simpson Marine, Asia’s leading yacht brokerage, has moved its Singapore sales office from its previous downtown Kandahar Street location to Raffles Marina situated in the west of the island at Tuas.

The Raffles Marina sales office will be the new hub for Simpson Marine (SEA) Pte Ltd’s Singapore sales and service operations. Simpson Marine’s Singapore sales office will continue to oversee the operations of the other satellite offices in South East Asia (Port Dickson, Langkawi and Kota Kinabalu) from this new location.

Raffles Marina is Singapore’s premier marina and county club, comprising 165 walk-on berths for boats up to 65ft, solid breakwater and floating berths for an assortment of megayachts, power and water supply for all berths, a well-equipped boat house and buggy service. Many of Singapore’s most prestigious luxury yachts are berthed here.

‘Raffles Marina is a prestigious new location for our Singapore sales and after-service operations,'
said Jyrki Jaamaa, Simpson Marine’s General Manager for SEA.

‘This move enhances our business on so many different levels, not least having immediate proximity to our roster of luxury yachts as well as enabling us to be a better driver for the local boating industry here in Singapore. From our new location, we will be able to work far more effectively with our customers and service staff.’

‘Our new Singapore location and hub for SEA will perfectly complement the business of Simpson Marine’s existing head office in Hong Kong; we are very pleased with this strategic move which will place us much closer to our customers in a prestigious marina setting,’ said Simpson Marine’s Hong Kong-based Managing Director, Mike Simpson.
