Yann Guichard and his Spindrift racing team are on their way to the opening event in the 2017 World Match Racing Tour season that will take place from 20-25 March in Perth (Australia).

Skipper and helm Guichard and his three crew have one simple objective for this season: to finish on the podium at the WMRT final in China next November. The team is very aware of the challenges that lie ahead, but are hugely motivated after this winter’s training programme.

To mark this opening event, Spindrift has published the second edition of Focus. This new issue is dedicated to the team’s preparation for the World Tour, with interviews, details of the 2017 crew and an immersion into the world of match racing with more videos and photos to discover and share.

The crew of the M32 Spindrift for the Match Cup Australia:
Yann Guichard - Helmsman
Christophe Espagnon - Mainsail
François Morvan - Trimmer
Sébastien Marsset - Bowman (replacing Sam Goodchild for this event)
