Marine Rescue NSW Great Outdoor Getaway Art Union winners announced

The inaugural Marine Rescue NSW Great Outdoor Getaway Art Union has been drawn. The total prize package, worth $281,500, featured off-road caravans, 4WD vehicles, boats, cars, a quad bike and cash.

Commissioner Stacey Tannos thanked all the members of the public who supported the vital lifesaving work of Marine Rescue NSW volunteers by buying tickets in the Art Union.

He said the Art Union was the major annual fundraiser for the organisation’s 45 volunteer units along the coastline from Point Danger to Eden and inland on the Alpine Lakes and Murray River at Moama.

The winners are:

First - Choice of a Haines Seachange 595 Off Road Caravan and VW Amarok CORE 4WD Dual Cab Ute 8-speed auto, total value $140,397 OR a Haines Seachange 640 Off Road Caravan and $20,397 cash, total value $140,397: A Heitia, Northmead.

Second - Haines Signature 525F S-Series boat and Suzuki 4-door Grand Vitara Sport 4WD, total value $73,427: R Zerbes, Narrawallee.

Third: Suzuki S-Cross GLX Auto and Sea Jay 3.7m Nomad boat, trailer and 15hp Suzuki, total value $40,397: N Craddock, Wollongong.

Fourth: Suzuki Swift GL Navigator, valued at $16,790: P Lewis, Crookwell.

Fifth: Suzuki KingQuad ATV 400 ASi 4x4 quadbike, valued at $10,490: P Morley, Hornsby.

The Art Union was conducted under NSW Permit No. GOCAU/1702 issued under the provisions of the Lotteries and Art Unions Act 1901.

The draw, conducted by Grant Thornton Audit Pty Ltd Partner – Audit and Assurance, Neville Sinclair, took place at MRNSW Headquarters at Cronulla at noon.
