McConaghy awarded Best Sailing Yacht Builder - Asia Boating Awards McConaghy Boats
The 12th Asia Boating Awards were presented at ONE°15 Marina Club, Singapore on the opening night of the Singapore Yacht Show (April 7-10). McConaghy Boats was awarded '2016 Best Sailing Yacht Builder'.
Created by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines in 2005, the annual Asia Boating Awards recognise the best of the maritime industry in Asia and internationally.
The awards serve as a benchmark for the industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
McConaghy has build facilities in Australia and China, along with a design office in New Zealand.
Mark Evans, Joint MD said:
'It's great to be recognised by these awards for the work we do in the region, and internationally. McConaghy continues to push the boundaries in every aspect of composites and boat building. This year we will be continuing to add to our fleet of award winning race boats, we will also start the first of our new line of High Performance Cruising Catamarans, and later this year we will lay the keel of our largest build to date, a 155' superyacht.'
