DF2.5 Long Shaft engine to be displayed at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show

by Emma Slater on 28 Feb 2015 Suzuki Marine Dealers up and down the country will this week take delivery of a brand new stock of DF2.5Ls – the long shaft edition, which will also be taking pride of place on the Suzuki stand (F10) at the upcoming RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show (28 February – 01 March).

This incredibly popular and versatile little outboard is lightweight, compact and portable. The new DF2.5L has a shaft length of 508mm (a full 127mm longer than the standard shaft) and is aimed at the sailing market for use as an auxiliary engine on small sailing boats and dinghies; widening the choice for customers in this market sector.

This new model weighs just 14kg, which means it is very easy to lift and transport with its large carrying handle. It also benefits from a range of features such as F-N gear shift, water-cooling and a one litre fuel tank.
