Beds on Board launch Excel 023 - London Boat Show 2015 Beds on Board
CWM FX London Boat Show - The founders of Beds on Board are delighted with the reception to the peer-to-peer marketplace that connects boat owners with accommodation seekers. Launched this week at the CWM FX London Boat Show, co-founder Jason Ludlow commented:

'When the doors of the Boat Show opened on Friday we didn’t know what to expect but the response from boat owners has been very positive. We offer owners the chance to offset their running costs and be a part of the rising share economy but also offer guests another way to stay that they may not have considered previously. I must emphasise that the boat doesn’t leave the dock at any stage, it is purely for accommodation purposes.'

'This week has proved many things to us, primarily that the boat owners we have met have understood the benefits with many listing their boats directly after meeting with us. We are extremely excited by the breadth of global enquiries we have received and we already have listings in the UK, Sweden, Spain, Greece and interest from as far afield as New Zealand and the Philippines. We've seen a lot of uptake by charter companies who offer boats in great locations and also can act as agents to offer services to owners and guests.'

At an informal drinks reception to celebrate the launch Sir Peter Ogden said, 'This a fantastic tool for connecting boat owners and those with a bit of wanderlust wanting try something completely new.'

'At the show we have engaged with marinas, charter companies and people who enjoy staying on boats as well as industry colleagues and we can already see our community growing.' Summarised Beds on Board website
