AEE Drone Ace Electronics Enterprise
Ace Electronics Enterprise (AEE) becomes the official supplier of cameras and flying drones to Icarus Sailing Media.

Headquartered in China, AEE is a leading global provider of cameras and recording equipment. AEE’s new partnership will see Icarus Sailing Media using AEE cameras and drones for its broad portfolio of sailing projects. The need for the latest recording technology, combined with robust casings and operation is vital for the Icarus Sailing Media team, who cover around 45 major events per year all over the world. Combined with its exceptional action camera range, AEE recording equipment specializes in the development and application of wireless AV transmission technology and intelligent control technology.

Icarus Sailing Media is a leading sailing media company and at the forefront of covering the world’s premier sailing and superyacht events, putting heavy demands on its camera and recording technology.

Panos Marinopoulos, Head of Marketing for Icarus Sailing Media commented, 'AEE is a market leader in manufacturing action cameras. AEE’s revolutionary recording equipment will be an essential tool for Icarus Sailing Media to capture the action packed world of competitive sailing and superyacht events. This relationship has huge potential, providing Icarus Sailing Media with the latest recording technology and delivering a global platform for AEE to promote its brand.'

'The Icarus Sailing Media team take a multi-platform approach to filming, from static cameras to mobile,' continued Marinopoulos. 'Capturing action shots is challenging. Filming the extreme world of kite surfing requires a different approach to super yachts, and the AEE camera product range will cover all our needs from on-board cameras, to rib mounted cameras, head-cams to drones and cameras mounted on helium balloons.'

Icarus Sailing Media films a broad range of events, boasting massive global distribution of its programming, including its own documentary series of programmes, Inside Sailing, Fleet Racing Tour and Kite Masters. Partnering with Icarus Sailing Media will give AEE extensive exposure to a global TV and digital media sailing audience.

Michael Fu, AEE Director of Overseas Marketing said, 'AEE is delighted to be providing our cutting edge technology to capture the premier sailing events in the world. AEE is continually innovating and we are one of the world’s preferred recording brands for many other action sports. It is our ambition to develop international partners we can be proud of. Icarus Sailing Media is renowned for their sailing coverage and match our desire to deliver the best.'
