by Greg Raybon on 24 Sep 2014
Hobie 16 Open North American Champ and Pan Am Games Qualifier Mike Walker Photography
The high pressure moved into the area for day two of the Hobie 16 North American Championships in Lewes De and provided a light air racing day. Two races were held with a short break for lunch in between races.

Jason Hess and Irene Abascal from Guatemala padded their lead in the regatta and are in first by 12 points. Mark Modderman sailing with his daughter Grace Modderman (USA) moved into a tie with Dan Borg and Lianna Giovanda (CAN) for second place.

Pedro Colon and Monica Cabrera are only two points behind in fourth place. The sailors are preparing for a breezy day tomorrow. Racing continues tomorrow thru Friday.
