Celebrating its 25th year as one of the country’s most prestigious action sports competitions, the Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships presented by Rockstar will take place in Waco, TX. for the first time in the event’s illustrious history. Making their way to BSR Cable Park from July 24-27 will be a collection of the world’s top professional and amateur wakeboarders and wakeskaters competing for highly-coveted National Champion honors.

The 2014 Nautique WWA Nationals will feature more than 20 divisions with competitors ranging from seven years old to 55. The event’s top two divisions – the Pro Men and Pro Women’s – attracts world-famous action sports athletes including last season’s King of Wake Rookie of the Year and Nautique team rider Mike Dowdy and defending National Champion Phil Soven. The athletes will compete behind the event’s official wakeboard tow boat, the Nautique G23, which produces one of wakeboarding’s biggest and cleanest wakes allowing the athletes to perform the most difficult and technical tricks possible.

'We’re thrilled to bring the Nautique WWA Nationals to BSR for the first time ever. The venue is killer and the riders will have perfect water conditions, 'said Chris Bischoff, competition director. 'Texas has a very passionate wakeboard population and it’s a great opportunity to bring the best athletes here for a world class competition.'

In addition to the jaw-dropping wakeboarding action, the world’s top wakeskaters will also compete at Nationals behind the all-new G21. The competition draws some of the sport’s biggest names including Nautique team rider Brandon Thomas.

The Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships also serves as stop number six on the eight-event King of Wake Series. Online adult tickets are available for $7 (46% off the gate price) Gate prices are: $13 (adult); $5 (ages 6-12); free (ages five and under). King of Wake
