With the continued success of RYA eBooks and the ever expanding range of titles the RYA is pleased to announce that RYA eBooks are now available on Kindle Fire through the Amazon App Store.

'We are always looking at ways to make our eBooks more accessible and this is a great new way to do so. Kindle Fire is one of many popular devices that regularly access our web site and we are delighted to make it possible for user to access RYA eBooks via this platform,' commented Steen Ingerslev, RYA Publications Manager.

Availability via the Amazon App Store builds on the RYA’s existing presence on both iTunes and Google Play, which have seen thousands of downloads since RYA eBooks were launched back in September 2011.

RYA eBooks can also be purchased via the RYA’s own web shop with the additional benefits of:

· Access to eBooks on all supported platforms on up to three different devices
· RYA Member discounts
· The ability to sync notes and bookmarks across platforms

As well as releasing the App in the Amazon App Store, a number of new eBooks are also available to purchase:

· RYA Powerboat Handbook
· RYA Race Coaching Handbook – Second Edition
· RYA Rigging Handbook

All of the new titles are crammed full of additional teaching videos, animations and interactive features to bring the text alive.

To support the launch of our new RYA VHF Handbook eBook, RYA Publications has teamed up with Garmin Ltd to offer one lucky prize-draw winner a free VHF 100i Black.
