Chaparral has released the long-awaited little sister to their award winning 327SSx bowrider amid huge acclaim from the worldwide dealer network.

Available in twin or single engine configurations the new 307SSx is all about performance with stunning hole shots, handling and top speeds more akin to its smaller SSi stablemates.

Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia was one of the first people in the world to drive the new boat and said 'The first thing that struck me was the crisp, clean lines of the boat.

'The interior was very modern with no wasted space with a simple, practical layout. The trim was gorgeous; it oozed style and class and felt very rich.

'The best bit though was the performance, this boat was quick, quiet and soft in the choppy conditions, with minimal bow rise, accurate handling and very dry; I loved it and I reckon it will be a winner in Australia!'

The new boat does not include accommodation and although muted is not yet available with a hardtop like its big brother 327SSX.

Now in its 50th year, Chaparral have a solid reputation for quality, innovation & performance worldwide; with a line up of saltwater sports boats from 18 to 42 feet.

'With the current US trend of building bigger and bigger bowriders, Chaparral have stepped back taken a look at the market and found a niche where buyers can have a high performance twin engine boat with big passenger capacity, head, wet bar and adjustable cockpit layout for reasonable dollars; the 307 is a bit easier to store and handle when compared to the bigger boats,' said O’Hare.

'We already build the world’s biggest and craziest bowrider with the 327SSx, so the all new 307SSx fills the gap nicely for us,' he said.
