12ème édition de La Transat AG2R La Mondiale

AG2R La Mondiale, partenaire principal et fidèle acteur du monde de la voile, et Pen Duick, organisateur de la course, en accord avec les collectivités partenaires, ont le plaisir d'annoncer que la prochaine et 12ème édition de la Transat AG2R La Mondiale partira de Concarneau le dimanche 6 avril 2014 pour rallier Saint-Barthélemy. Cette course, unique en son genre, met en compétition depuis plus de 20 ans des duos de skippers, jeunes navigateurs ou loups de mer, sur des bateaux monotypes (Figaro Bénéteau 2).

'Je me réjouis de retrouver nos amis skippers pour vivre avec eux cette nouvelle aventure sportive mais également humaine lors de la prochaine édition de la Transat AG2R La Mondiale à laquelle notre Groupe est farouchement attaché tant elle illustre nos valeurs de performance et de solidarité,' déclare Yvon Breton, Directeur général délégué d'AG2R La Mondiale.

'Unique Transat du calendrier 2014, la Transat AG2R La Mondiale, ouvrira une saison de courses particulièrement riche et devrait, comme à chaque édition, présenter un plateau de qualité et nous offrir un joli suspense et de belles émotions,' ajoute Pierre Bojic, Directeur général de Pen Duick.

Les inscriptions seront ouvertes aux skippers dès le Salon Nautique de Paris 2013. Rendez-vous donc sur le Nautic, qui se déroulera du 7 au 15 décembre 2013 à Paris, Porte de Versailles.

En 2012, la Transat AG2R La Modiale qui fêtait ses 20 ans, s'était élancée de Concarneau le 21 avril. Elle avait vu la consécration du duo Gildas Morvan / Charlie Dalin (Cercle Vert), arrivé en vainqueur à Saint-Barthélemy le 13 mai 2012 après 22 jours de course.
