America's Cup 2013 Race 5 Video

by Sail-world.com on 11 Sep 2013
The 'September Showdown' for the 34th America's Cup continues at 1315 PST time today Tuesday 10th of September.

With Oracle USA going into the series starting with minus two, having been penalized because of the AC45 Kingpost affair then losing the first three races and then winning the last on Sunday, you can bet both teams will come out with guns blazing today.

Race 5 begins at 1:15 pm PT, with race 6 following at 2:15 pm PT. (wind speed limits permitting)

The Live Broadcast with commentary by Olympic Gold Medallist and Artemis AC72 helmsman Nathan Outteridge, and top international sailor, Ken Read (USA), will run from 1:00 -3:00 pm PT. That is 9pm GMT, 10pm in France & Spain etc, 6am Sydney time, 8am New Zealand time.

Live racing and replays can also be viewed here (subject to territorial restrictions), that is for certain countries including the USA and New Zealand where it is geo-blocked. Please advise of others, as you regrettably discover them.

If you live in a blocked territory you can try various work-arounds, on of which is to download a piece of software Hotspot Shield, pay the $5 subscription for a month, set the territory to Australia, and you should receive the live coverage (when you run the test in Hotspot Shield your PC/laptop should show Australia - not your home country).

With a large Sail-World Team we will be working very hard to bring you dedicated America´s Cup newsletters overnight and thru the series. Stay with the Sail-world team for all the live action, replays, analysis, images and interviews.

Here is the replacy of Race 5
