Lyman Morse launches a new downeast style flybridge Jet Boat-Peregrine John Snyder
Lyman Morse boat building launched on June 7th, 2013 a new 42’ LOA, flybridge, twin jet drive cruisers for an experienced Maine yachtsman.
Lyman Morse collaborated with design partners C. Raymond Hunt Associates of New Bedford, Mass. to create a fast coastal cruiser based on a full-deadrise deep-V with integral chine and lift strakes. The composite hull shell was SCRIMP infused in one of the company’s existing Hunt 38 female molds, previously used for a number of other successful projects. Custom sheer, transom insert and jet intake mounting insert pads were added to give the boat its 42 feet overall. A new deck and flybridge mold were built for the project. A stringer system of high-density material and Matalastik mounts limit the noise transmitted through the yacht's structure.
For power the yacht is equipped with twin Caterpillar engines coupled with a mouse-controlled, Hamilton Jet-Blue Arrow system.
The electronics package includes Raymarine radar and Raystar GPS.
