Royal Purple has launched the third installment of its 2012 mini-documentary series, Outperformer, with the airing of a six-minute film on championship winning Offshore Powerboat team, Miss Geico Racing.
From off-season duties that include 14-hour work days preparing the boat for competition, to the steely determination and focus required on race day from both pilot and crew, Royal Purple’s mini-documentary turns its attention toward the highs and lows of one of the most dangerous forms of motorsport competition and what it takes to pursue the excellence to Outperform.
Found online at royalpurple.com, the video follows Miss Geico’s boat pilot, Marc Granet, to chronicle what it takes to command a championship winning team and drive a boat capable of speeds in excess of 210 miles per hour, over open ocean and choppy waterways. As the final video of the year from the high performance synthetic lubricant manufacturer, Royal Purple’s vignette of the Miss Geico team continues the company’s goal of profiling teams and individuals who ‘Outperform’ in their respective fields, discussing their inspirations to be 'the best of the best.'
