It’s All Go at the Rivergate International Boat Show

A host of new exhibitors have come aboard Brisbane’s first on-water boat show at Rivergate, Brisbane, 5 to 7 October.

We welcome Maritimo, Mustang, International Paints, Noble Boats, Nautilus Insurance, Millenium Marine, Gateway Marine, Advance AV Qld, Cunningham Marine Centre, Broadwater Boating, SME Finance, Waritime, 1800 Approved and a host more.

All Exhibitors will go into the draw to win one of two ‘five day’ ski holidays at the delightful Alberg Ski Resort at Mt Hotham holidays to be drawn at the Friday night exhibitor function on Friday, October 5.

Each prize consists of 5 night’s accommodation in a 3 bedroom apartment for up to 10 adults. Apartments are fully self-contained with all linen and towels supplied, TV, DVD, kitchen, two bathrooms, drying room, hairdryer and hydronic heating.

Resort facilities include 24 hour reception, ski hire, a family bistro, pizza bar, licensed supermarket, heated indoor swimming pool, steam room and spa, guest laundry, ski and board rental, wireless internet and meal packages are also available.

Situated overlooking the snowfields and just 150m from the village chairlift, The Arlberg Resort is the largest alpine accommodation in Australia more than 150 apartments and offers an extensive range of family friendly facilities

The Exhibitors’ cocktail party on Friday evening 5 October from 6 to 8pm is set to be one of the major highlights of the Boat Show, providing a great opportunity to meet, greet and network. We will have a guest speaker who will briefly speak about how you can increase sales, move stock, improve cash flow, enhance productivity and reduce seasonality. Don’t miss it!

We invite Exhibitors to utilise our stage area in the Exhibition Hall for demonstrations and education sessions. These will have to be booked so get in early!

Channel 7’s 'Creek To Coast' have been at Rivergate this week filming for 4 upcoming segments which will go to air during September, on Channel 7 locally and then on 72 nationally. 'The Great South East' will also run a Boat Show feature one Sunday in September.

The ‘Main Event’ of the Rivergate International Boat Show will be a world first! Marine Auctions will conduct a Major Auction with around 60 Boats with some unreserved. Also Marine Auctions will be launching Live Internet Bidding, which will allow any person with Internet to Bid Simultaneously with the Auctioneer from any location throughout the World. One of the star attractions are the Iconic Kookaburra Queen Paddlewheelers.

And on the subject of the Kookaburra Queens, 'River Rhapsody’’ morning tea cruises will be hosted aboard one of the paddle wheelers, on both Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am until midday.
