Rivergate Marina & Shipyard in Brisbane has been honoured with ‘Superyacht Industry of the Year – SERVICE PROVIDER’ at the recent Club Marine Australian Marine Export & Superyacht Industry Awards.

These awards highlight and recognise the achievements of businesses within the Superyacht sector in Australia. The 2012 Award Winners included Rivergate Marina & Shipyard and Hanseatic Marine, with Muir Engineering and Aurora Global Logistics both awarded high commendations.

The Awards were held during the Sydney International Boat Show at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Sydney.

Rivergate is one of Queensland's premier Superyacht Refit and project management destinations, offering a vast range of services, ranging from painters, marine electricians, composite material repair to generators, power control systems to marine carpeting and fabrics. Rivergate is a great location for Superyachts of all shapes and sizes to complete refits, maintenance work and repairs on a pristine shipyard and marina complex.

Rivergate Marina & Shipyard was voted in the Top 3 Australian Marinas by Boat International USA (now Show Boats) and the only Australian Shipyard in the Top 3 Superyacht Refit Destinations in the world by the Crew Report (Issue 32). Located on the Brisbane River, the marina is a certified Clean Marina and received 100% in the 2010 audit.

Superyacht industry sectors are commanding a significant place on the world stage and AIMEX believe these companies deserve recognition for their initiative, innovation, quality and expertise and the contributions they are making to ensure the Australian Superyacht Industry is at the forefront of global markets.

In October, Rivergate will host the inaugural Rivergate International Boat Show, 5-7 October.
