Dometic is presenting three of its latest products at the world's largest trade exhibition of marine equipment, materials, and systems - METSTRADE, Stand 01.131 & 01.231.

The award-winning air purifier Breathe 4500 and NRX S refrigerators are two Dometic innovations that have launched in the EMEA region in 2023, and Helms for SeaStar and BayStar steering systems will be launching in Europe at the show.

Making its European show debut is Dometic's newly designed helms systems, which deliver enhanced steering performance and improved durability, thanks to its tighter, more responsive steering and smoother operation.

The refreshed design directly addresses the higher torque motors dominating the market, which greatly reduces the potential for "chattering" when turning the helm in the same direction as the steering load. This design also eliminates flow noise when coming off the hard-over position and decreases the potential clicking sound of the lock valve spool during sudden steering reversal.

Dometic's new helms also feature a more robust and durable check valve design, and the helms have been restyled to provide better aesthetics and easier access for maintenance.

Launched in July 2023, the Breathe 4500 is a quick and innovative way to add state-of-the-art air purification to any vessel. Winner of the 2023 Top Products Award from Boating Industry Magazine, the Breathe 4500 eliminates stale air and foul odours for more enjoyable boating experiences. Using positive and negatively charged ions, the innovative ioniser reduces pathogens and mould spores by attacking their core structure. The system also removes allergens and dust from the air.

Dometic's newest marine refrigeration solution - NRX S, was launched in EMEA in August 2023. It combines sleek design, modularity with easily removable freezer and quality finishing with industry-leading energy efficiency. The NRX S is designed for maximum efficiency, using up to 25% less energy than comparable fridge models, thanks to its compact compressor and electric module which consumes just 0.22kw/24 hours.

Eric Fetchko, President of the Marine Segment for Dometic, said, "We're excited to be exhibiting at the 35th METSTRADE with a host of innovative solutions for the marine market. These products have been designed to make time on the water more enjoyable and comfortable. METSTRADE is an ideal opportunity to learn more about the pioneering features of our products which enhance experiences on any vessel."

Dometic will also present other products from its Steering, HVAC, Refrigeration, Blinds, and Sanitation range at METSTRADE. Find out more on Dometic here.
