After two decades on the water, Eyachts is marking a major milestone, 20 years of bringing some of the world's most innovative and sought-after yachts to Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in 2006 by Peter Hrones, Eyachts has grown into one of the region's leading boat dealers, representing a carefully curated portfolio of premium European brands including Axopar, BRABUS Marine, Pardo Yachts, VanDutch, Greenline Yachts and Sirena Yachts.

What started as a bold move to introduce a different kind of boating to local waters has become a defining force in the industry.

Backing the right boats, early

From the beginning, Eyachts has built its reputation on identifying brands that do things differently and backing them early.

Long before many of today's leading names became widely recognised, Eyachts was introducing them to Australian and New Zealand boaters. That instinct, paired with deep industry knowledge and long-standing relationships with European shipyards, has consistently kept the company ahead of the curve.

Today, that portfolio spans everything from high-performance adventure boats to luxury motor yachts and next-generation hybrid and electric vessels.

Expertise that goes beyond the sale

While the boats are a big part of the story, it's the experience around them that has set Eyachts apart.

With an in-house service team, technical specialists, and a hands-on approach to ownership, the company provides support well beyond delivery. From initial enquiry through to maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing advice, owners are backed by a team that understands both the boats and the lifestyle that comes with them.

It's a model that has created a strong base of repeat owners across Australia and New Zealand, many of whom have progressed through multiple boats with Eyachts over the years.

Built on trust, proven on the water

Over the past 20 years, Eyachts has delivered several hundred boats across the region, helping shape how Australians and New Zealanders experience time on the water.

More importantly, it has built a community.
Owners aren't just customers, they're part of a broader network of like-minded people who share a passion for boating, adventure, and lifestyle. Each year Eyachts hosts events across the nation and in 2026 they plan to have three massive raft ups in Queensland, Perth and Sydney. This is what owners value, that connection, combined with consistent service and support, is what continues to bring people back.

What owners say

Many Eyachts owners come back for a second boat, a reflection of the experience as much as the product.

Two-time owner Nikki says it comes down to the personal approach.

"From the start, we felt so looked after. It's not just a transaction, it's a very personal experience. What Peter has built is a family-type environment where you feel like a valued owner. The whole process was seamless, well-communicated, and nothing was ever too hard. Even with our Axopar, it felt tailored to us."

Heather and Graeme returned to Eyachts across two very different brands.

"We bought our Axopar 24 years ago, and more recently a new Greenline, and both times the experience has been incredibly smooth," says Graeme. "The team is friendly, professional, and nothing is ever too much trouble."

For Raelyn and Graeme, upgrading within the Axopar range, the sense of community stood out.
"We are very proud owners and extremely indebted to Eyachts and Vesseltec for making us feel part of the Axopar family."

Raina and Stephen, who moved from an Axopar 22 to a 29, point to consistency.
"The service, the attention, the communication... it's fantastic. From the first boat to now, we've always felt looked after. It makes such a difference."

Looking forward

As the boating landscape continues to evolve, with greater focus on efficiency, hybrid systems, and electric propulsion, Eyachts is already positioned at the forefront.

With brands like Axopar pushing high-performance electric through the AX/E range, and Greenline leading the way in hybrid innovation, the next chapter is already under way.

For Eyachts, the focus remains the same, bringing the best European boats to market, backed by the expertise to support them.

20 years on, just getting started

Twenty years is a milestone worth celebrating, but for Eyachts, it's also a reminder of what's next.

For those looking for a team with proven experience, trusted brands, and the knowledge to guide every step of the journey, Eyachts continues to set the benchmark in Australia and New Zealand.
