Largo Bay Sailing Club is looking forward to welcoming competitors from across Scotland and beyond to the 2026 LBSC Open Regatta, taking place on the beautiful waters of Largo Bay.

A highlight of the club's racing calendar, the regatta will once again bring together sailors from a variety of classes for a weekend of competitive racing, friendly rivalry and excellent shoreside hospitality. The event also incorporates a number of class traveller events and championships, ensuring strong fleets and exciting racing throughout the weekend.

The 2026 regatta will host the ILCA 7, ILCA 6 and ILCA 4 Scottish Grand Prix event, as well as a round of the Rooster Regional Youth Series - Scotland. The Enterprise fleet will compete as part of the Bluebell Traveller Series, while the International GP14 fleet will contest the UK Scottish Areas Championship.

In addition to the championship and traveller fleets, an Open Handicap Fleet will be available using RYA Portsmouth Yardstick (PY) handicaps and average lap racing. Any class attracting five or more boats may be allocated a separate start, helping to ensure fair and competitive racing across the fleet.

Situated on the stunning Fife coastline, Largo Bay offers a fantastic sailing venue with open water, varied conditions and spectacular views across the Firth of Forth. Whether competitors are regular visitors or making their first trip to the club, they can expect a warm welcome from members and volunteers who are working hard to deliver another memorable event.

Away from the racing, the regatta provides an opportunity for sailors, families and supporters to come together, enjoy the club's hospitality and catch up with friends from across the sailing community. The social side of the weekend is always a key part of the event and helps make the regatta a favourite stop on many sailors' calendars.

With entries now open, Largo Bay Sailing Club is excited to welcome competitors for what promises to be another fantastic weekend of racing and camaraderie.

For full event details and entry information, please visit the regatta webpage and submit your entry online. We look forward to seeing you on the water at Largo Bay.
