The 2026 ILCA 6 Masters World Championship concluded on Sunday in Athens after a week of competitive racing across all age categories. Despite the race committee's efforts to complete additional races on the final day, insufficient wind prevented any racing from taking place, leaving the standings unchanged after ten races.

Throughout the day, competitors remained ashore and on standby while officials monitored the conditions. However, the breeze never developed sufficiently to allow a fair race, bringing the championship to a close with the results from Saturday becoming final.

Over the course of the event, sailors experienced a wide range of conditions, from light and tactical races to stronger sea-breeze days, completing a total of ten races and producing closely contested championships across the fleet.
