Loch Earn Sailing Club is looking forward to welcoming around 60 young sailors to the 2026 Scottish Schools Brown Cup on Monday 8 June 2026.

Entries for this year's event are strong, with pupils from schools across Scotland expected to take part in a friendly but competitive day of racing on Loch Earn.

The event is open to primary and secondary school pupils attending a Scottish school and is designed to support both experienced junior racers and sailors taking part in one of their first regattas. Fleets include Topper, Optimist, RS Feva and Handicap.

The event is supported by headline sponsor Optos, whose sponsorship helps the organisers deliver an accessible and enjoyable schools sailing event.

The Brown Cup will be awarded to the top school team of three boats, with additional prizes for individual and class performances. The event will include Optimists, Toppers and handicap classes.

The organisers are delighted with the level of interest and are looking forward to a busy and enjoyable day on the water.
