For a comfortable wetsuit on the water, warmth and protection are only part of the story. Performance depends just as much on how your kit moves once you’re actually sailing.
Sailing is rarely static. You’re hiking, crossing the boat, moving through manoeuvres and constantly adjusting position, and over the course of a long session even small restrictions can become tiring and distracting. That’s why flexibility and articulation have always been central to how we design our wetsuits.
Throughout the design and development process, we focus heavily on how our neoprene performs in motion. Not just the stretch of the material itself, but the shaping, panel layouts and fit — how the neoprene behaves under load, and how it continues to perform after repeated use: wet, dry, then wet again.
That thinking runs throughout both our Thermaflex and Supertherm® ranges.
Thermaflex is designed for lighter, warmer conditions where flexibility and freedom of movement are prioritised, while Supertherm® is built for colder conditions and longer winter sessions where extra insulation and protection become more important.
