Day 2 of POSH (Paignton Open for Single Handers) started with the RS Aero 9 and RS Vareo sailors starting an hour earlier than scheduled to enable them to get in 4 races. The day started with a nice breeze of 12 - 13 knots however the wind slowly dropped over the course of the day to 4 - 5 knots - not the predicted winds that were forecast.

Nick Craig (Frensham/Burghfield) is currently leading the RS Aero 9 fleet with Joe Jones and Tim Hire closely behind. The top of the RS Vareo fleet is very tight with Michelle Collier-Brooks (Oxford SC), Stuart Bailey (Wilsonian/Medway SC) and Zak Mitchell (Paignton SC) all on the same points with Michelle leading on countback.

The handicap sailors of the POSH fleet sailed 3 races and Jack Miller (Felphan) is currently leading the fleet and is 1st RS Aero. First Blaze is Nick Ripley (Paignton SC) and top RS100 sailor is David Smart (Chew Valley SC).

It is all to play for on Sunday - lets see if the predicted winds arrive.

Thanks as always to our sponsors of P&B, Rooster and Noble Marine.
