Just over six months' on from the keel laying ceremony and first weld, the aluminium structure of Project Dreamer - a 63m flybridge sloop - already hints at this yacht's incredible stature.

Project Dreamer heralds the next generation of performance cruisers.

A full-custom sailing superyacht, her unique and innovative design by MMYD combines sailing performance and luxury with elegance and sustainability.

Project Dreamer pushes the parameters of possibility to achieve the largest flybridge yacht possible under the 500GT threshold.

"Project Dreamer is a perfect fit for build at Vitters Shipyard. The yacht's pioneering character and the requirement for exceptional technical execution, could not be closer to our own ethos." - Bas Peute, Sales & Marketing Manager, Vitters Shipyard.

"Project Dreamer is rapidly transitioning from a bold concept to a sailing reality. Driven by the Owner's uncompromising vision for the extraordinary, the design evolution is pushing the boundaries of what is possible for a yacht of this size. Our collaboration with Vitters Shipyard has been seamless, ensuring that every detail is executed to world-leading precision." - Greg Monks, Monks Large Yacht Consultancy.

The yacht's build is divided into several sections, and undertaken upside down. The next key stage in the yacht's construction will be the hull turning, expected to take place later this year.

Project Dreamer will be equipped with a high-performance mast and rigging package from Southern Spars and have an air draft of 77.5 metres above the waterline. She'll have a hybrid propulsion system and feature fully electric sail systems for maximum control, and a wardrobe from North Sails has been specified.

Specification for Project Dreamer:

  • Yard hull number: 3096
  • Length overall: 63m
  • Waterline Length: 57m
  • Beam: 10.9m
  • Draft - keel down: 7.3m
  • Draft - keel raised: 4.75m

The yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2028.
