Sail Canada 2026 Celebration of Sailing: Reconnect with the Canadian Sailing Community

Sail Canada will host its 2026 Celebration of Sailing on Saturday, January 24th at the Enercare Centre on Sailors' Day at the Toronto Boat Show, and tickets are now available.

This event provides opportunity for the Canadian sailing community to gather and celebrate excellence. At this edition of the Celebration of Sailing, to be held from 4pm to 7pm in Salon 105 at the Enercare Centre (100 Princes' Blvd., Toronto, ON), Sail Canada will celebrate some annual awards winners, including:

  • Richard Clarke: Sail Canada Sailor of the Year;
  • Dale King: Sail Canada Volunteer of the Year;
  • as well as some Ontario Sailing annual award winners.

The event will also be an opportunity for the Canadian Sailing community to reconnect with one another, including Canadian class associations and club representatives, as well as Canadian Sailing Team alumni and Olympians.

Together, the community will celebrate some important anniversaries and pay tribute to some of Sail Canada's Olympian including for:

  • the 45th anniversary of the Moscow 1980 Canadian Olympic Team in 2025;
  • the 25th anniversary of the Sydney 2000 Canadian Olympic Team in 2025.
