Pierre Quiroga and Gaston Morvan (Wewise) finish second

Their race time is 12 days, 5 hours, 42 minutes, and 2 seconds.
Pierre Quiroga and Gaston Morvan covered the 4 700 miles of the course between Le Havre and Fort-de-France at a speed of 16 knots on the great circle route (direct course). They actually sailed 5 615,35 miles at an average speed of 19,12 knots (over the water).
It was an all-out battle between Pierre Quiroga and Gaston Morvan from Le Havre to the Diamond Rock. After the nightmare of three capsizes at the start (Lazare x Hellio, Koesio and Inter Invest), the duo stuck a note under their cap reading: "Don't capsize!" Cautious yet skilful, they took command of the fleet off the coast of Brittany and executed a faultless tactical performance across the Bay of Biscay.As they approached the Canary Islands, after four days in the lead, Wewise was caught by Edenred, which snatched the top spot. Remaining in close contact, the pair lost ground passing Cape Verde but made up for it on the Atlantic crossing. Just a few days from the finish in Martinique, when Edenred suffered damage, Pierre Quiroga and Gaston Morvan seized the opportunity to slip through and engage in a neck-and-neck duel with Viabilis over the final miles. Briefly in the lead, they were overtaken near the Martinique coast and secured an honourable second place.
Luke Berry and Antoine Joubert (Le Rire Medecin Lamotte) finish third

With an impressive record of 11 podium finishes in Class40 and a remarkable victory in the 2023 Rolex Fastnet Race in the Ocean Fifty class during his very first multihull season, Saint-Malo skipper Luke Berry and his loyal co-skipper Antoine Joubert delivered a standout performance in this year's TRANSAT CAFÉ L'OR.In the 2023 edition, following the dismasting of their boat off La Coruña, Le Rire Médecin had been forced to retire — a setback the pair were determined to make up for. With their boat strengthened and relaunched in April, the duo remained in contention throughout, never putting a foot wrong, always in rhythm, and seizing every opportunity. They proved their ability to go head-to-head with the best crews in the fleet, chasing Wewise closely all the way into Fort-de-France Bay.For Luke Berry and Antoine Joubert, this third place has the flavour of a well-earned redemption.
