Entry open for 2026 Tre Golfi Sailing Week

by Tre Golfi Sailing Week 20 Oct 2025 10:41 PDT 4-28 May 2026

The spotlight returns to the Gulf of Naples with the official launch of the 2026 Tre Golfi Sailing Week, set to take place from May 5 to May 28 and featuring three premier regattas: the ORC World Championship, the 71st Tre Golfi Offshore Regatta, and the IMA Maxi European Championship.

The official website is now live with full information, including the Notice of Race, entry forms, logistics details, accommodation options, and media resources for teams and press.

The 2026 edition will open with the ORC World Championship, attracting top-rated boats and international crews - both Corinthian and professional - to one of the most competitive offshore racing arenas in the world. This will be followed by the historic Tre Golfi Offshore Regatta, a coastal classic first held in 1954 and renowned for its combination of technical challenge and scenic beauty. For the first time, the offshore race will be split into two starts: Friday, May 8 for ORC boats (both World Championship entrants and others), and Friday, May 22 for the Maxi fleet. Closing the month will be the IMA Maxi European Championship, with the most powerful and elegant Maxis competing for the continental crown.

Organized under the authority of the Italian Sailing Federation, by the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia, in cooperation with the Yacht Club Italiano of Genoa, with the crucial support of the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia of Naples, the ORC and the IMA, the event confirms its status as a Mediterranean classic, blending top-level racing with world-class hospitality.

"Bringing together three world-class regattas under one banner makes Tre Golfi Sailing Week one of the most complete and exciting events on the international calendar," says Maurizio Pavesi, Vice President of CRV Italia. "We are proud to welcome the world's top offshore yachts, ORC teams, and the Maxi fleet to Naples for what promises to be an unforgettable month of sailing."

Entries are now open on the official website. Teams are encouraged to secure moorings and accommodation early, with preferred options and logistics support already available online. As the 2026 sailing season approaches, Tre Golfi Sailing Week once again sets the course for excellence, tradition, and innovation, framed by the stunning coastline of the Sorrento Peninsula.

Schedule:

  • ORC World Championship: 4 - 14 May
  • 71st Tre Golfi Offshore Regatta: 8 May ORC - 22 May IRC Maxi
  • IMA Maxi European Championship: 21 - 28 May
