Horizon Power Catamarans plans a Portuguese Deck showcase with the configuration featured on both a brand new PC60 and a PC68 during the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The 66th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show promises a tremendous display of all things yachting, and Horizon Power Catamarans plans an elevated showcase featuring the latest model layout offerings. Horizon Power Catamarans will present two of its PC models during the show, scheduled for October 29 - November 2, 2025. A brand new PC60 featuring both an on-deck master and a Portuguese Deck configuration will be on display alongside a new PC68 with the same layout. The team will also unveil the first-ever wheelchair accessible layout drawings for the PC68 model at its stand on the Face Dock, Slip 608.

The PC68 strikes an ideal balance between a manageable LOA and exceptional interior volume and deck space. With a generous 24ft 6in beam, the PC68 offers an expansive aft deck for alfresco dining that flows seamlessly into a main salon featuring a starboard-side galley with a center island and a forward port lounge with plush seating.

This particular PC68 is configured with an On-Deck Master, positioned forward on the main deck to capture an abundance of natural light through panoramic windows. A few steps lead down to a spacious ensuite in the port hull with dual vanities, which shares the aft section with a convertible twin ensuite. A VIP king ensuite and a second convertible twin ensuite aft are positioned in the starboard hull.

Up top, the PC68 distinguishes itself from the competition with an innovative flybridge layout and the addition of the popular Portuguese Deck forward. The semi-enclosed flybridge houses twin helm chairs, shaded dining and lounging spaces, and a dayhead. Aft, the boat deck carries the tender and is fitted with a bar and grill station. Forward, the Portuguese Deck offers a versatile retreat with convertible seating, sunbathing, or dining options. Powered by twin MAN i6 850hp engines, the PC68 achieves a range of 1,850nm at 9 knots.

Making its first public appearance at the show is the newest PC60 and the second hull to feature a Portuguese Deck layout. Adhering to the gilded rule of maximized exterior deck space, this PC60 features a semi-enclosed flybridge housing a bar to port and a large settee with a dinette to starboard, with a dayhead aft. Several configuration options are offered for this space, but the acclaimed Portuguese Deck layout sees the two helm chairs and nav station situated to port and a passenger settee to starboard to allow for the centerline pass-through. The flybridge can be open or enclosed for maximum versatility. When the tender is launched from the boat deck, the space transforms into an expansive entertainment or sunbathing area.

The PC60 is a four-stateroom yacht, and the model on display has been designed with the optional On-Deck master stateroom configuration with three additional cabins in the hulls. The starboard hull houses an ensuite queen and twin cabin while the master ensuite with dual wash basins and a convertible twin ensuite cabin are positioned in the port hull.

The PC60 interior is a showcase of the variety of soft goods, wood, stonework, and finishes that owners can specify for their semi-custom power catamaran build, with the assistance of The Powercat Company's own in-house design team. The main salon is accessed from an expansive aft deck, which is fitted with a built-in settee and a generous dining table. The aforementioned on-deck master stateroom is situated furthest forward on the main deck, and the inviting salon offers a large, L-shaped sofa and a spacious galley and bar area, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and entertainment.

Both the PC68 and PC60 are equipped with Horizon's advanced power package, pairing a Victron phosphate battery with a Termodinamica variable-speed air conditioning system. This setup delivers nearly 20 hours of cooling and dehumidification on battery power alone, significantly reducing generator usage while enhancing comfort. Offered as standard across the Horizon Power Catamaran range, the system boasts an 84% improvement in energy efficiency and incorporates smart features such as remote monitoring and automatic generator start/stop.
