Azimut|Benetti Group announces the appointment of Andrea Antichi as General Manager for the Azimut division.

Antichi officially assumed the role on May 12, 2025, reporting directly to CEO Marco Valle. In synergy with the Company leadership, the new General Manager will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of the division and achieving objectives both economic and industrial. The priority for Antichi is consolidating the footprint of the production sites, which are currently at the center of a transformation and enhancement plan.

A mechanical engineer by training, Andrea Antichi boasts a solid professional background, working with leading industrial companies. Having joined Ferrari in 2006, Antichi has held manufacturing roles of increasing responsibility over time, until he was appointed Chief Manufacturing Officer, a position he held until joining the Azimut|Benetti Group. Previously, he gained experience in the technical field at Piaggio and was active in the research field at the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institutes, where he worked on computational biomechanics.

Andrea Antichi's appointment is part of the broader process of organizational and strategic evolution undertaken by Azimut, aimed at integrating the best skills in the nautical sector with high-level managerial profiles from other industrial fields. The aim is to promote a transversal, innovative and future-oriented vision.

"Andrea's appointment is an important part of the current phase of evolution of the Azimut division, which commits to building the foundation of an ambitious vision for the coming years: accelerating industrial development with an increasingly structured approach, while continuing to innovate constantly. The transformation of the Avigliana facility, now capable of producing boats up to 26 meters, is a testament to this improvement path. Bringing both experience and managerial vision, Andrea will make a decisive contribution in guiding a new phase of growth, in making production processes even more efficient and in continuing to raise our quality standards," comments Marco Valle, CEO of the Azimut|Benetti Group.

"After nineteen years at Ferrari, a symbol of Italian automotive excellence in the world, I have chosen to come aboard the excellence of the yachting sector", says Andrea Antichi, Azimut Yachts General Manager.

On this occasion, the Azimut|Benetti Group expresses its thanks to Daniele Romiti for his commitment to the role of General Manager since 2022. During his mandate, Romiti has led important development and enhancement projects for Azimut's production sites, with particular attention to the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the sustainability of industrial processes, such as the introduction of energy self-generation systems and practices to help establish a circular economy.
