Discover the Future of Offshore Fishing with the Cheetah 9.5m Powercat

Cheetah Marine is excited to announce its participation at SEAWORK, taking place in Southampton, UK, 10-12 June 2025. As Europe's largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition, SEAWORK marks its 26th year, bringing together over 7,600 industry professionals for three days of networking, innovation and collaboration.

This year, Cheetah Marine will be joined by Jason Williams, the 2023 Sea Angling Classic Champion, to showcase his brand-new Cheetah 9.5m x 3.4m Powercat from the Angling Range. Specifically designed for offshore fishing, the modern vessel continues the legacy of all-weather performance that Cheetah Marine is renowned for.

Jason Williams, "I've always wanted to own a Cheetah and its everything I hoped for. I've been out on the sea trials and it performs brilliantly. She's a great boat and I'm really pleased with how the build has gone and the quality." For a sneak peek at the sea trials watch the video on Cheetah Marine's YouTube Channel.

Notable for its custom-built features, Jason's boat includes a shortened walk-around cabin, offering 360 degrees manoeuvrability, making it an ideal platform for fishing. The cabin itself has been adapted for comfort during long days at sea, with amenities including a gas cooker, day heads, and even a small berth - practical for overnight stints, weekends, or extended stays aboard.

Cheetah Marine's Managing Director, Bas Edmonds, and Design Manager, Chris Sheaff, will be on hand to discuss the company's latest developments. "We're excited to meet fellow fishermen and industry professionals at SEAWORK and demonstrate the capabilities of our walk-around cabin," says Bas. "The bespoke internal cab, combined with our signature hulls, deliver unparalleled stability and performance for navigating all types of sea conditions, year-round."

The Cheetah 9.5m Powercat is equipped with Honda BF250 engines featuring VTECTM technology, ensuring a superior combination of power, torque, and fuel economy. Cheetah Marine will be located at stand VA29 on the water, conveniently positioned near Honda's own stand.

"While the model we are showcasing emphasizes rugged, workboat functionality, we also offer bespoke, high-end conversions for water taxis, sea safaris, and luxury passenger transport," Bas adds. "The walk-around design not only facilitates easy deck movement for fishing, cruising, or sightseeing, but the extended cabin also enables year-round use, making it a smart investment for operators seeking versatility and durability."
