Gurit Asia Pacific's Auckland site will be installing a new foam slitter machine during March, to expand and continue to supply high accuracy and efficient cutting services. During the decommissioning and installation period we will not have the ability to fill custom foam orders, and expect this process to take approximately two weeks from late March into early April.
Ahead of this planned outage we have stocked up on sufficient quantities of the most common foam thicknesses, but cannot guarantee availability of all sizes or unexpected requests. If you have any upcoming projects during this time that will require foam, please provide us with forward orders ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
The arrival of the new machine is scheduled for late March, but due to logistics out of our control there could be delays. However we do anticipate a smooth install that should take up to two weeks from arrival and a seamless transistion into production mode.
