The second day of the 7 Portugal Grand Prix - Round 2 saw challenging conditions, with light and unstable winds limiting the racing schedule. Despite the sailors' patience and the Race Committee's best efforts, only the 49er and ILCA 6 Men & Women fleets managed to complete one race.

With competition tight and many races still ahead, sailors remain focused as they look forward to better conditions in the coming days.

Tomorrow's schedule - First possible warning signal:

  • 11:00 - 470 Mixed, ILCA 7 Yellow, ILCA 7 Blue, 49erFX
  • 14:00 - ILCA 6 Women, ILCA 6 Men, 49er

The goal for tomorrow is to complete three races for ILCAs and 470 Mixed, and four races for 49er and 49erFX.

The forecast for tomorrow looks promising, with improved conditions expected for racing.

*We would also like to correct an oversight in yesterday’s update, as we did not mention the 470 Mixed class. They are an integral part of the event, and we regret the omission.*
