Yamaha Motor Europe has launched two new YAM inflatable models for family outings and sportier adventures, as well as unveiling stylish design updates to its outboard engines, at this year's prestigious Dusseldorf Boat Show. Furthermore, Yamaha announced innovative new features across the full inflatable range, elevating Yamaha's inflatable boats to new levels of practicality and performance.

Taking centre stage at the show was the latest addition to the Air series, the YAM 350Air-V, which delivers an enhanced boating experience with its advanced inflatable V-hull. At 356 cm in length and weighing a mere 43 kg, it comfortably accommodates up to five passengers while remaining easy to transport and set up. Its lightweight construction and improved hull design provide exceptional stability and control, making it ideal for family outings or leisure excursions.

Expanding the Sport range, the YAM 420S is built for adventure and performance. Measuring 418cm and weighing 91 kg, this model supports up to seven passengers, offering ample space and enhanced comfort. Its precision-engineered V-shaped hull ensures superior handling and a smooth ride, while the reinforced transom supports Yamaha outboards for unmatched power and reliability. Whether for sport or extended outings, the YAM 420S delivers exceptional performance.

Exciting enhancements across the YAM inflatables range

As well as introducing new inflatable models, Yamaha has also announced a host of new innovative enhancements across the full YAM range. These include new rubbing strakes that provide enhanced durability and superior protection against abrasions and wear. These are included in the Tender, Air and Sport series, extending the lifespan of these boats even in rugged conditions.

The improved drain plugs simplify water removal, enabling efficient drainage for enhanced convenience. This feature is now available across the Tender, Air and Sport series, making maintenance quick and hassle-free.

Retractable paddles offer an innovative storage solution, ensuring they can be neatly packed and quickly deployed when needed. This feature is included in the Tender, Air and Sport series, contributing to its practicality and ease of use.

The anchor holder provides a secure and accessible solution for storing and deploying an anchor, ensuring smooth mooring operations. This update has been introduced in the Air and Sport series, making it a valuable addition for longer excursions.

Furthermore, across most of the inflatable range, Yamaha has introduced refreshed colour palettes, including a striking dark graphite on the YAM 420S, plus enhanced styling, giving each model a modern and striking appearance. These updates add to the premium feel and visual appeal, ensuring Yamaha inflatables stand out both on and off the water.

Outboard engines: A redesigned, harmonious look

In addition, Yamaha has introduced a refreshed design for its mid-range outboard engines, specifically the 70hp, 60hp, High Thrust 60hp, 50hp, and High Thrust 50hp models. These engines now feature a sleek, new cowling design that unifies their appearance with the higher horsepower models. A single flowing motion line graces the top of the cowl, while the distinctive Yamaha fork line adds a dynamic and recognisable profile on the side. These design enhancements deliver a modern and harmonious look that complements a variety of boats.

Yamaha has also expanded its white colour offering across a broader range of outboards. The 115hp, 100hp, 70hp, and 50hp models are now available in white, providing boat owners with greater flexibility to achieve a stylish and unified appearance that pairs seamlessly with today's diverse range of boats. Customers will also find a stylish new 3D chrome emblem on the 150hp and 200hp Digital Electronic Control and Mechanical engines, aligning them with the modern aesthetic found on the DES models.
