World Champion, Nick Craig, from Britain, continues to hold the lead of the September 2024 OK Dinghy World Ranking List. Sweden's Patric Mure holds onto second place with Britain's Andy Davis in third overall. In fact the the top five overall remain the same.

The September 2024 list includes 12 events from nine nations, with little change at the top. The list now includes 786 names from 18 nations, representing more than 75 per cent of the worldwide active sailors.

Davis won the first major event of the European season at the Spring Cup in Medemblik. Mark Jackson won the only southern hemisphere event on this release, Sail Bellarine, in May.

In Germany, Sweden's Niklas Edlar, won Kieler Woche with an amazing 72 entries, while Ulli Kurfeld won Warnemunder Woche a few weeks later. Morten Jakobsen won both Thai events, including the Thai national championship at Sattahip. Tom Lonsdale won first Scottish championship for many years, while Craig picked up another British National title this summer to add to his collection.

Over in Scandinavia, Bo Petersen won the 105 boat, and windy, Danish Nationals, while another former World No.1 Thomas Hansson-Mild won the Nordics and the Swedish championship. Finally, the Dutch nationals attracted an international fleet of 34 boats and was won by local favourite Stefan de Vries.

Inside the top 10 there are no major changes, and no new entries, but as the fleet begins to look forward to the end of season events, including the ever popular Autumn Trophy in Bandol, followed by the European Championship in Palma, in October, there will no doubt be some movement in the next release in November.
