Evo Yachts at Cannes presents the world premiere of Evo R4+

by Evo Yachts 31 Aug 2024 03:21 PDT 10-15 September 2024

Evo Yachts chooses the Cannes Yachting Festival for the world premiere of Evo R4+.

The new 13-metre yacht builds on the success of Evo R+, reprising its enclosed deck and adding two plus points that confirm the brand's determination to offer the ultimate in transformability: a strikingly designed aluminium hard top and a custom multifunctional stern platform.

Also on show alongside the new model will be the second Evo R+ unit, the first of which was presented at the French boat show last year.

Evo Yachts returns to Cannes and, after the success of Evo R+ last year, launches a model featuring the same enclosed deck solution - which offers an extremely comfortable on-board lifestyle in any weather conditions - and various innovations that boost transformability.

Evo R4+, given her world premiere at Cannes and designed by the brand owned by the Mercuri brothers in partnership with designer and naval engineer Valerio Rivellini, combines extremely liveable exteriors with the comfort of a cabin cruiser. The aim of this new project, with its striking styling and high-level amenities, is to offer the possibility of cruising in complete comfort in different seasons and geographical areas, configuring several spaces on board in different ways, to satisfy specific needs, thanks to ingenious modular solutions such as the partially removable aluminium hard top and the aft deck with a custom multifunctional platform, which adds an extra metre of length and enables the boat to be used in different ways. Cruising on R4+ therefore brings the benefits of multiple types of vessels - walkarounds and cabin cruisers - and the boat can be used year-round. In addition, the beach area is fitted with the brand's hallmark "XTension" bulwarks that have brought international fame to this range.

The premium interiors below deck are spacious and comfortable, with a focus once again on transformability. The engines are two 535 HP Volvo Penta IPS 650 units, delivering a top speed of 34 knots and a range of about 300 nautical miles.

On show alongside this new boat will be the second Evo R+ unit, an 18-metre yacht designed for long stays on board and featuring a minimal, sporty and dynamic style, with an enclosed main deck and high-ceilinged interiors to ensure the ultimate in comfort.

The edgy black aluminium top heightens the appeal of a profile that echoes sports car design, and the sleekly contoured helm station is surrounded by windows. The day area rounds out the main deck with a lounge, a fully appointed galley and a table. Below deck, the lines are clean, simple and angular.

The two new features of this second unit that add living space are the introduction of the brand's hallmark "XTension" bulwarks and the multifunctional aft deck. The propulsion system features a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 950 engines, delivering a planned top speed of around 33 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.

Evo Yachts will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 10 to 15, 2024 - Stand QSP 144. Evo R+ and Evo R4+ will be available to book visits on board and sea trials.
