Arksen, the pioneering outdoor lifestyle brand, proudly announces the global debut of the Arksen 8 at the Southampton International Boat Show, the largest boating event in the UK.

Visitors can witness the first model in the Discovery Series, designed to cater to the needs of modern, adventure-seeking families with a premium open RIB experience.

Crafted with precision and passion by a dedicated team of experts using premium materials and components, the Arksen 8 offers superior functionality, enhanced specifications, and a thoughtful use of space, combined with luxurious refinement - a haven of comfort and relaxation for all on board.

The Arksen 8 is engineered for versatility, offering the capability to handle cross-channel and inter-island voyages with ease. With its extended range, enhanced power, and spacious interior, the vessel is built to accommodate two families along with their essential supplies for the day.

Measuring eight metres in length with a 2.9-metre beam, the Arksen 8 features a thoughtfully designed deck that provides ample space for easy movement, storage of equipment such as scuba gear and fishing rods, and the ability to comfortably host up to 12 passengers.

This innovative adventure boat is equipped with an advanced hydrodynamic hull design that delivers a dynamic and stable driving experience. The 24 degrees deadrise deep V hull form, complete with detailed spray rails and an optimised forefoot, is engineered to tackle challenging ocean swells and choppy coastal waters with confidence.

For thrill-seekers, the Arksen 8 showcases state-of-the-art hydrodynamic design principles, and a harmonious blend of confidence-inspiring offshore performance and unwavering stability at rest, ensuring a secure and comfortable experience for all on board. Rated for up to 500hp, the vessel provides options for either single or twin outboard engine installations, while its built-in 495-litre fuel tank delivers ample capacity for extended cruising and adventurous voyages. Arksen's latest vessel sets new benchmarks for boating experiences and redefines the Grand Tourer RIB concept.

For those who prefer leisurely cruising, the craft offers sociable seating in the bow for up to five passengers, complemented by a stylish wet bar and BBQ unit mid-ship, along with fold-up reverse-facing bench seats leading to the aft dining area. The cabin is meticulously crafted, featuring a well-appointed dashboard, luxurious suspension pilot seats, and an innovative layout with options for a hardtop and an electrically opening roof to ensure comfort in all weather conditions. Additionally, the vessel includes a spacious internal heads compartment that offers a private changing area, luxury amenities, and storage space.

Alongside the Arken 8, the Foul Weather Jacket will also be on display. New for Autumn/Winter 2024, the jacket utilises their first-hand knowledge of maritime exploration. Reinforced with Cordura elbow and seat panels for extreme durability in challenging environments and boasting a 3-layer nylon outer layer, the design is highly robust and fully waterproof.

Jasper Smith, founder and CEO of Arksen commented: "We're extremely excited to showcase the Arksen 8, the first model in our Discovery Series, which is made for marine adventures at Southampton International Boat Show. As a proud British boatbuilder, there's no better place for us to introduce our latest innovations than at the UK's largest on-the-water exhibition. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and igniting a new passion for adventure."
