Columbus Yachts is pleased to announce the launch of M/Y Frette, the second 43-metre unit of the new Atlantique line.

Named in honor of the renowned Frette brand, known for its exceptional Italian craftsmanship, M/Y Frette is also adorned with Frette Bespoke linens, adding an extra layer of luxurious details and sophistication to the vessel. Columbus Atlantique 43 is distinguished not only by an interior layout tailored to the owner's needs but also by the sophistication of its materials and their combinations. This excellence is embodied in fluid forms and a sophisticated aesthetic, ensuring maximum functionality and the joy of life on board.

A special thanks to Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division, who has represented the Owner from the pre-contract phase throughout the entire build, acting as Owner's project manager and technical surveyor.

The 43-metre steel hull is combined with an aluminium superstructure, the maximum beam measures 9.05 metres and the tonnage is around 460 GT.

Both the exteriors and interiors of Columbus Atlantique 43 m bear the signature of the Hot Lab studio and present a series of stylistic, design and functional elements dedicated to traveling by sea, "Architecture for voyagers", and to fully enjoying every single moment spent on board.

The naval engineering was carried out by the shipyard in collaboration with the Hydro Tec studio. The exterior profile reminds of a nutshell or a smooth and artfully carved stone: free from any edges and sudden shifts in inclination. Just a single shape, soft and aggressive at the same time, the almost natural synthesis between a motor yacht and a classic sailing boat. The sailboat-style streamlined design confers a natural elegance to the yacht.

M/Y Frette was designed to meet its Owner's requirements and is characterized by large outdoor areas that seamessly blend with the generously sized indoor spaces: everywhere on board there is total contact with the surrounding landscape.

The "sailing-type" stern of Atlantique 43m is perhaps its most distinctive area. The 5-metre long central swimming pool is very impressive. The whole thing is very low on the water due to the choice of "digging" the aft section taking it to just 50cm above sea level, and the addition of the two lateral folding side wings enhances the feeling of direct contact with the water.

The lower deck is endowed with 5 double cabins, 3 twin and 2 VIP which can be joint and converted to a VVIP suite, all with private bathroom.

The forward area of the lower deck is dedicated to the crew and it houses three double cabins, all with bathroom, the crew mess and the laundry.

The 5.5m tender is at the stern with a garage on the starboard side. The main deck forward has been arranged so as to house both the second tender (rescue boat) and two jet skis.

Powered by two 970kW Cat C32 Acert engines, Columbus Atlantique 43 can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.

This model will be on display at this Fall 2024 Cannes and Monaco Boat Shows.
