Road To Gold Live Q&A with Annie Lush, 3x Ocean Race veteran and Olympian © Road To Gold

After a successful career on the Olympic circuit and representing Great Britain in women's match racing at London 2012, Annie Lush has become one of the most in-demand professionals on the offshore scene.

As well as competing in the past three editions of the Volvo Ocean Race/ The Ocean Race, Annie has a wealth of experience on inshore big boat racing.

There probably aren't that many women working in the role of Crew Boss, and it's not an easy job. But Annie relishes the challenge of making sure the front and the back of the boat are pulling in the same direction.

Join Road To Gold regulars Hamish Willcox and Andy Rice for an hour of go-faster conversation with Annie about effective team comms and achieving crew harmony as well as how to weather the inevitable emotional storms, along with a range of other technical topics. This is YOUR opportunity to put questions to the one of the best all-round sailing talents who has experienced plenty of tough moments and come out smiling.

What we'll be covering...

TOPIC: Race-winning Communication

Apart from the main topic of the call, the Road To Gold team will be digging into a wide range of topics with Annie. This is a unique format - half podcast and half phone-in.

You can either sit back and enjoy the call or you can put your questions directly to our guest superstar. How often do you get the chance to ask high-calibre sailors for their answers to questions that will make YOU go faster?

Get online with Road To Gold this Monday for a free Zoom call and a 60-minute Q&A session with Annie, and learn how to apply her hard-earned experience to your own sailing ventures.

What do YOU want to know about racing faster?

Feel free to ask your question(s) during the call, but if you can't make it live then you can send them in beforehand, or fill out our quick survey.

(If you just want to sit back and enjoy the chat, that's fine too!)

WHEN: Monday 13 May, 1800 UTC

Check how that time zone relates to where you are in the world. It's not always easy to get on the call live, but we do provide a recording for our paying subscribers.
