Revel Yachts is proud to announce the launch of the Revel 44S, a luxury craft designed and built by yachtsmen for yachtsmen. The Revel 44S combines the elegance of European design with quality American craftsmanship. The hull design is by Bill Prince Yacht Design of Wis-consin, the interior and exterior are designed by Mac-ra Naval Architecture of La Spezia, Italy, engineering is done by Revel's skilled in-house engineering team, and the Revel 44S will be built by renowned Maine-based boatbuilder Lyman-Morse. The result will deliver the most luxurious, innovative, and reliable yacht in its class.

Revel Yachts is headed by CEO Joshua St. Germain, a longtime marine industry veteran and Landing School graduate who has over a decade of experience at some of the top yacht manufacturers in the United States, and is backed by a group of experienced investors who provide financing and business acumen.

"I've been working on boats my entire life, and my goal with Revel Yachts was pretty simple—create the highest quality and most reliable boat that money can buy," St. Germain said. "I am excited to have been chosen to lead the Revel team and collaborate with many of our high quality industry partners and vendors to deliver a yacht that sets a new benchmark for reliability, quality, and luxury."

"The Revel team has the vision and drive to create a yacht that is highly differentiated from our competitors," said Revel Yachts Chairman Luis de Luzuriaga, a lifelong boat-er, seasoned investor, and business executive. "Throughout the process the team has not compromised on quality, safety, or styling—and I can say with confidence that the final product will be second to none."

As with any great product, the Revel 44S has evolved from the initial design concepts based on extensive customer feedback. The idea behind the Revel 44S is a boat that you can take to the beach with your family in ultimate comfort and style, and on a short two- to three-day family cruise. The Revel 44S combines the practicality of a center console with the amenities and seaworthiness of a cruising yacht. It has a full cabin down below, a settee that's convertible into a berth forward, a galley to port, a full head with shower to starboard, and a queen berth aft underneath the helm area.

While the lines are classic, the Revel 44S also benefits from modern advances in technol-ogy. For example, the Revel 44S is a digitally switched boat with Starlink high-performance internet as an option. The company is currently developing an app that will allow owners to connect to their boat remotely to control lights and refrigeration, check engine hours and fuel levels, and view two optional security cameras mounted on the hardtop. Another technologi-cal feature is the custom glass helm display, made by Seatronx, a company that makes display modules for superyachts.

Luxury is designed into every element of the Revel 44S. Every walking surface has decking on it, with Herculan Marine Decks from Teakdecking Systems as standard and real teak as an option. To create the legs that support the aft end of the hardtop, Revel partnered with an outside vendor who specializes in custom metal manufacturing to create a true work of art—the top and bottom are cast alumi-num, and then there's welded aluminum tube between the two that is faired and painted. The result is nothing short of gorgeous.

However, interesting features and cutting-edge design don't mean anything if the boat isn't safe and seaworthy with a nice turn of speed, and the Revel 44S is most certainly that. Standard power comes from triple 400-hp Mercury V10 Verados, with the option of twin or triple 600-hp Mercury V12s. Standard power will provide an estimated top speed of 46 knots, while optional power will see that top speed number creep up to 54 knots. The hull, deck, and stringer grid are all built with epoxy construction, and everything else is vinylester resin with all structural components being vacuum infused—one more way Revel aims to build better boats.

Lyman-Morse craftsman have begun building hull No. 001, with an anticipated launch date of the sec-ond half of 2024. Representing Revel Yachts through their dealer network will be Lyman-Morse in Maine, Intrinsic Yacht & Ship in Pennsylvania and Maryland, Resolute Yachting in Florida, and Kusler Yachts in Cal-ifornia and Mexico.
