Antonini Navi has been invited to speak at the Haikou Boat Show during the upcoming China International Consumer Products Expo in Hainan, from April 13 to 18. The talk will focus on investment opportunities for shipyards and yachting industry operators in Hainan, the Chinese province closest to Macao and Hong Kong.

Antonini Navi will be a key player at the Haikou International Boat Show in the framework of the China International Consumer Goods Expo. The fourth edition of the Show will take place from April 13 to 18 in the 170,000-square-metre marina facilities in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan province, which will become a Free Trade Port by 2025, with ever brighter prospects of becoming a strategic centre for international yachting thanks to the numerous benefits and incentives available to the industry.

Walter Antonini, Business Development & Marketing Manager at Antonini Navi, has been asked to contribute to the debate attended by industry professionals and government representatives, at which he will speak about investment opportunities for shipyards, including Antonini Navi itself, in the Hainan region. In more detail, he will present Antonini Navi and the opportunities for the island of Hainan to attract foreign investors.

"Taking part in this boat show gives Antonini Navi a better understanding of the needs and desires of the Chinese market and culture - which are in many ways different from those of the West - and is also in line with our company's focus on building custom yachts," explains Walter Antonini. "In China, it's vitally important to develop a strong guanxi with the local culture and key government officials. In the context of Chinese society, guanxi (??) refers to a network of deep relationships."

Part of Walter Antonini's talk will be a presentation of the important maritime area in the Gulf of La Spezia and the Miglio Blu (Blue Mile), La Spezia's renowned shipbuilding district of which Antonini Navi is a member along with the area's most prestigious superyacht yards, which he will present as a virtuous example of co-operation in this industry.
