"It is really special to have Quantum Sails back on board in 2024 as title sponsor of the Great Lakes Cup Series. Their support and dedication to the Class and our owners is so valuable," says Scot Zimmerman, newly elected President of the U.S. Melges 24 Class. "Their involvement is a constant reminder to everyone that the Melges 24 is the best sportboat in the world to race, that you always have someone who will help you improve and become a more competitive, well-rounded sailor. They help us grow the fleet, as well as the sport of sailing!"

From the Quantum Sails Team:

"2023 was a great year of racing with the familiar and fierce midwestern competition and some newer, and further-traveled faces on the starting line too. We were thrilled to finish out the 30th anniversary season with 29 boats at the Lake Geneva Yacht Club for a breezy National Championship!

As Quantum enters our fifth year as a sponsor of the Melges 24 Great Lakes Cup, it's rewarding to think of all the sailors we've been able to help with sails, service, tuning, trim, tactics, and coaching during that time. We've wholeheartedly enjoyed watching the Midwest Melges 24 fleet grow over the last few years with more regattas and clinics. More Midwest sailors have traveled to regattas in other regions to compete, and this series has attracted tougher competition each year. We're proud to support such a passionate group of one design sailors, making the absolute most of this series right in our backyard. With our sponsorship this year, we plan to continue supporting the class with educational opportunities at events, as well repair and new sail services.

So, cheers to the 2024 season! Quantum Sails and our team of dedicated one design experts are here to help you with any new sail, service, or coaching needs as you gear up for the season. Be sure to check out our National Championship winning Z1 AP Runner and V4 Reacher spinnakers as you plan for the year. See you on the water soon!"
