Two of Kent's highlight summer events are set to return to the Dover Waterfront bigger than ever this year, with dates confirmed as 22nd June for the Marina Showcase and 6th July for the Regatta. So, mark them in your diary, and great ready for a relaxed summer on the coast.

The Regatta is back with another action-packed programme, with further details to be released in the spring. Both events will be centred around the Marina Curve and Clocktower Square, which are popular for soaking up the coast with stunning views, live music and local food and drink.

The Marina Showcase will be the first time that the marina industry and general public can experience a full set of re-developed facilities, as the Wellington Dock opens in the spring, and the new Outer Marina enters its second season.

Stall holders are invited to apply for the Regatta here.

Diederik Smet, Placemaking, Events and Partnerships Manager at the Port of Dover said:

"It was brilliant to see another hugely popular Regatta last year, which brought communities together and raised funds for four important local charities. I'm sure it will be another firm favourite for 2024, alongside an expanded Marina Showcase, which will shine a light on our world class facilities and provide another wonderful opportunity for the public to enjoy our bustling Waterfront."

"These flagship events are getting bigger every year as we work with more local partners and businesses to together, present the best of the Kent coast in one place."

The popular Music on the Curve and the Dover Waterfront parkrun will also continue regularly throughout the year, plus other special celebrations and events.
