Axopar x Agapi Boat Club global launch spring 2024

by Axopar Boats 17 Jan 2024 01:41 PST

Axopar x Agapi Boat Club is thrilled to announce the unveiling of their first joint membership Clubs, opening in 2024 - the result of a rapid expansion of new locations worldwide.

In addition to its standard membership program Axopar x Agapi launches a new Global PayGo Membership, exclusively for Axopar owners.

Innovative solutions for the customer of tomorrow

Established in 2017, Agapi Boat Club has pioneered premium membership boating.

The strategic partnership with Axopar is set to attract a new generation of boaters looking for circular economy-based models, sustainability, and focused on offering alternatives to go boating besides traditional boat ownership.

Axopar x Agapi Boat Club offer unique premium memberships, delivering seamless boating experiences at new club locations throughout the world, with opportunities to go boating outside of your own home waters on a truly global scale.

The partnership not only disrupts the boating sector but also brings great business potential to grow the boating market, and to get more people on the water.

To facilitate the rapid growth and expansion of Agapi Boat Club in 2024-2025, backed by Axopar, a financial round is under way to secure further investments into the fleet and new strategic partners.

An overwhelming response has meant rapid expansion of new locations

Axopar x Agapi Boat Club offers a membership concept for boating worldwide, with new openings in Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Channel Islands, Chile and Mexico in 2024, complementing existing Agapi Boat Clubs in the Nordics, U.K, and the Mediterranean.

For spring 2024, this results in an extensive network spanning 25 harbors across 10+ countries. Collaboration between Axopar Boats, Agapi Boat Club, and Axopar's dealer network ensures seamless integration, utilizing established businesses and skilled staff, with more locations following.

Jan-Erik Viitala, Founding Partner of Axopar Boats, expresses his commitment when he says: "Our new club concept aligns perfectly with our dedication to bring more people out on the water, encouraging shared usage of boats and a perfect way for our Axopar dealers to expand their business into urban mobility and subscription based services.

Axopar x Agapi Memberships make boating easy

Being a member of the Axopar x Agapi Boat Club (AxA) is a comfortable and care-free way of going boating. The clubs handle everything for their members, by keeping the boats ready to go and providing concierge services upon request. The flexible booking routines, the access to a variety of premium boats in different sizes, and the access to a global network of attractive destinations are some examples of the unique premium full-service concept. Depending upon the boat category chosen, customers enjoy access to models ranging from 22 to 45 feet.

Becoming a member is easy. Simply select the membership that aligns with your boating experience, needs, preferences of boats and lifestyle. AxA offers a personalized experience guiding customers through the entire process and as their experience grows, members will have the possibility to upgrade to bigger boat categories at any time if so desired.

Axopar x Agapi Memberships are customized to fit customers' needs and membership plans range from 3,500-45,000 EUR per year, depending on boat category and usage.

New Global PayGo Membership

In January 2024, Axopar x Agapi Boat Club is launching the first ever Global PayGo Membership to all of Axopar's new and existing boat owners globally.

Imagine one Membership, one Club network, today in more than 10 countries with the most attractive locations, and more to follow. Imagine access to the latest of the Axopar model series as well as other premium boat brands and the latest technology within the development towards electrical boating. Imagine this global network growing every month on all continents and waiting to welcome you to new waters in a completely new way. This is the future of membership boating.

The membership will allow Axoparians to travel and use a boat that is already very familiar to them in some of the most exotic locations in the world. Members gain access to Axopar boats of the same size range as their own boat in all Axopar x Agapi and Agapi Boat Club locations. At all club locations, a member will be welcomed and prior to going out boating, will be guided through the boat of choice and will receive information of local rules and legislation. The staff will also recommend attractive destinations to visit, local hidden gems, harbors, and restaurants. An increasing number of locations offer hospitality services, allowing you to pre-order for example food, snacks and drinks directly to the boat or arrange overnighting, pre-order moorings and restaurant reservations in local hot spots in advance.

The Global PayGo is based on a pay-as-you-go model and sales of this membership will be conducted by Axopar Dealers worldwide. The annual fee of a Global PayGo is 3.500€ (w/o VAT), including e-learning and online onboarding and 20,000 Cash-points to be used in any of the Agapi Boat Club locations. 20,000 Cash-points are equivalent to 3 day trips with an Axopar 22, or 1 trip with an Axopar 37. The actual cost in cashpoints depends on boat model, season, and region. Once the Cash-points are consumed, more points and services can easily be purchased directly in the Agapi app when booking a new trip.

Before boating for the first-time, members will undergo a comprehensive e-learning and receive on-line and on-site onboarding by an Agapi certified instructor. The e-learnings and on-site onboardings will be packed full of useful knowledge, something even seasoned captains will appreciate.

Sharing boats is about sharing pleasure

True adventurism and true escapism is about discovering different places and boating in regions you may not have experienced before, and this is the essence of Axopar x Agapi Boat Clubs.

Flexible membership schemes that offer access to a range of boats, including popular Axopar models, globally, with quality guidance and training from people 'in the know' ensure your valuable free time is never wasted, only maximised.

With even more club locations in incredible destinations due to open later this year, membership of the Axopar x Agapi Boat Club is your passport to unrivalled and guaranteed boating freedom.
