For many years, Proctor’s heartland lay in the restricted development classes, where he enjoyed success in all of the classes, from the National 12 through to the International Canoe © Proctor Family

Our video archive is fully searchable, and linked to all the clubs and classes in our database. It is updated weekly with the latest videos of sailing, but here we delve into the past, and round-up everything that shows sailing in International Canoe dinghies.

Amongst the Fourteens there is a brief close-up of a Canoe on the Thames at Teddington in the year 1947, in this video.

Some time in the 50s this video was taken at Hayling Island (UK) which shows two Canoes at 2m05s if you wish to skip straight to that moment. Sadly it is not very long clip.

A small hotspot of IC activity in Sweden was filmed in 1973, mostly showing sail numbers 62 and 63. These are homebuilds sailing outside Mälarhöjden on Lake Mälaren in Stockholm. Magnus "Mange" Olsson can be seen.
