The 8th Act of the Italian J/70 Sailing League, organized by the Rimini Yacht Club, ended with Circolo Canottieri Aniene being crowned the League Champions.

Robert E. de Felice, President of the Italian League Vela, commented, "It was an exciting and unexpected success for this year's 2023 Italian J/70 League Champion. The eight best Italian sailing clubs participated with their best skippers and crews and it was evident the level of sailing during the weekend was at a very high level, with many extraordinary mark-rounding maneuvers and intelligent tactics.

The Circolo Canottieri Aniene di Rome won the 2023 title of the Italian J/70 Sailing League. It was a tight race at the top since they only won by two points over Sistiana Nautico after fifteen races! The bronze medal went to the San Benedict Boat Circle.

A heartfelt "Thank You" and all our applause go to Luca D'Apote from the Rimini Yacht Club and Gianni Storti from the Rimini Marina, who hosted and organized the championship.

Finally, a huge "Thank You" goes to the Regatta Committee, chaired by Ettore Bonaguri, and the legendary Viola Gregori, without whom nothing would have been possible."
